- Day 1 . Almaty
Today We enjoy sightseeing the Almaty attractions. In the morning we drive the ice-skating rink “Medeo” where we take a cable car and go up to the ski resort area “Shymbulak” which is located at 2200 m. asl. The ride will go through high alpine trees of the tien-shan mountain range. Then we will walk in the area and at noon come back to the city center. We will walk in the Panfilov park visiting Ascension cathedral, one of the tallest wooden churches in the world, and then we visit War memorials and the museum of Kazakh musical instruments. Later in the afternoon, we do some stoppings at the Green bazaar. Where we interact with local people and taste some traditional food and drinks. Then we walk one of the most beautiful pedestrian streets – Almaty Arbat, then go down, and see one of the Almaty subway stations. Hotel 4*
Day 2. Almaty – Charyn – Saty (4-5h)
In the morning, we drive to the Charyn Canyons which has a nickname as a baby Grand canyon, where we take an easy walk with picturesque views. Later We have a quick stop at the Black canyons ,Later we drive to the Kol Sai lake ,walk around and enjoy views of the nature . optional walk around the village.Overnight and dinner at the guesthouse in Saty village.
Day 3. Saty – Kayindy lake –Saty – Kegen –Karakol (6h)
In the early morning We take a soviet car or 4×4 Japanese right-handed one to another beautiful lake “Kayindy” .We will hike (1hour one way) or there is a chance to take a horse to the lake ,the hike is beautiful .Then we come back to Saty ,change back to our car and drive to Kazakh/Kargyz border. After border formalities at the Kegen border we continue driving to Karakol. On the way we stop at the Przevalskyi museum ,who was the greatest Russian explorer of the central Asia nature.
Overnight in the hotel 3-4*
Day 4.Karakol – Jety Oguz – Fairytale canyon – Bokonbaevo.
In the morning we will have a short Karakol city tour visiting the Dungan mosque and Russian Orthodox Church. Taking a walk around the Tsarist architecture. Later we drive to Jety Oguz hills, enjoying the panorama of the hills and broken heart rock getting familiar with local stories and legends. Later we go on and have a beautiful hike through rainbow canyons so called Fairytale. Overnight at local nomadic dwelling – yurt.
Day 5. Bokonbaevo – Bishkek (6h)
After breakfast, we will meet an eagle hunter to show us the demonstration how people hunt with the eagle. Later we have a stop at yurt maker’s place in order see how this unique dwelling is made.
Upon arrival ,we check in in Bishkek hotel .
Day 6. Bishkek
In the morning we drive to the national Ala Archa park , to walk and see more of the nature , later come back to the city and see the main sights: Ala-too square, old square, oak park , Opera and Drama theater. Flight to Tashkent in the evening.
